Life at the house

We believe in enjoying later life and an Abbeyfield house will always offer residents the opportunities to get involved in activities and entertainment - which are a big part of life in our houses!

We offer an extensive activity programme within our Supported Houses, with our teams dedicated to coordinating events. We understand the importance of our residents’ emotional and physical well-being, and keeping active and enjoying later life is crucial to this.

Keeping active is important for older people and we offer numerous opportunities for residents to stay active, but it’s always the residents choice to get involved, with their independence and choice always being respected.

Dining areaAlong with these support services for residents we also provide wholesome home cooked food in our elegant dining room and you are welcome if you wish to lend a hand in our pretty gardens. Plus we can also find space for a small car or buggy if needed.
