It is a converted building with a lovely well maintained garden and comfortable, modern accommodation comprising single rooms, all of which are ensuite. Residents may bring their own furniture to make it a home from home. Three home-cooked meals a day are provided by our catering team.

Facilities are available for family or friends to stay overnight.

We value your independence and you are free to come and go as you please and spend your time as you choose. We organise a wide range of social and leisure activities and you are welcome to join anything that appeals to you but participation is not obligatory; we welcome suggestions from residents and their family or friends.

The nearby award-winning Elmhurst Park is a haven for young and old alike, and always has a beautiful display of bedding plants to attract and delight.

Oh yes - and we have Purdy, our house cat!

Life at the house

Arts and CraftsWe organise a wide range of social activities and events - we'll have a chat to you to see what you enjoy, and try and include something for you.

Activities include:

• Coffee mornings
• Arts and crafts afternoons
• Exercise classes
• Outing to local attractions

KitchenWe firmly believe that mealtimes are an opportunity for socialising, and food is at the heart of many celebrations.

Of course, we also recognise the importance of good nutrition. All meals and drinks are provided and we offer varied, wholesome menu choices. Meals are prepared using fresh, local produce where possible, and cooked on the premises. Cakes for afternoon tea are home-baked and hot and cold drinks and snacks are always available.

We make sure we find out about your likes and dislikes and ensure the menus include some of your favourites and your particular requirements, including cultural and religious choices.
