At Hale Court, Nicole and her team are dedicated to providing a safe and comfortable environment, with staff available 24 hours a day if extra support is needed. Our team is there for you every step of the way, with the care and support you need to help you make the most of your time at Hale Court.

Nicole joined Abbeyfield in June 2016 as the Operations Manager for Kent. She has worked in health and social care for over 30 years with experience in sheltered housing, residential care, dementia, health and safety and training and development. She brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the services and is a very experienced manager, who is passionate about the standards of care and support she offers to residents, with them being at the forefront of the services we provide.

Sue has worked in the health and social care sector for over 26 years with experience of residents care, nursing and dementia. Sue is passionate about palliative care, and wants to make her residents last days as comfortable and peaceful as possible. Sue is supporting the Operations Manager with the development of the Care at Home Service.

Royal is a very experienced carer who has worked within the health and social care industry for over 12 years, bringing a huge knowledge base with him to Abbeyfield. He is hard working and dedicated in providing a high level of care to our residents and very supportive of his colleagues. Royal continues to be very keen to develop his skills further and is currently undertaking a Level 5 Diploma in leadership and management.

Karen worked in learning and development for 15 years and has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience within administration in this, and other roles that she has had. Karen is very efficient and likes to ensure that her work is accurate, and of a high standard. Karen is passionate and firmly believes that people come first - this is reflected in her approach to residents and colleagues alike.

Debbie has worked in health and social care for over 23 years. She is hard working, reliable and has a good rapport with the residents. She is responsible for supporting them in many things, such as doing their washing and keeping their flats clean. Debbie has supported the house by cooking on occasions and produces a wide range of home made cakes and desserts!

Katrina has worked in the health and social care sector for over 28 years with experience of hospitals, residential care, nursing homes and care in the community and joined Abbeyfield in October 2016. She is hard working, reliable and flexible in her approach and dedicated to the residents. Nothing is too much trouble. Katrina is working with the Operations Manager to ensure that Hale Court is managed efficiently and safely.

Katarina is an experienced senior who has a particular interest in activities and organising social events. She is very enthusiastic and is working with residents to develop a comprehensive activity programme which incorporates the type of events that they want to take part in. She's also responsible for co-ordinating and managing the volunteer team which we are developing within the service.

Cassandra has worked in health and social care for a number of years and in a previous role was responsible for the ordering, management and administration of medication to residents. She is hard working and likes to keep herself busy. Nothing is too much trouble and she is happy to undertake anything asked of her.

- Maintenance Person

Mooka is a qualified domestic central heating engineer and runs his own business. He has joined the staff team at Hale Court with a comprehensive understanding of general maintenance. He ensures the building is maintained to a high standard and is safe for both residents and staff. Mooka will tell you himself that he is not a gardener, but he is happy to cut the grass and support staff to keep it tidy!

Edna is a people person and has previously spent many years volunteering in the community. She has experience of working in a community centre and cafe with people of all different ages and backgrounds, and brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to Hale Court. She is hard working, loyal and nothing is too much trouble. She is very approachable and enjoys spending time with the residents. She is a very keen gardener and is supporting Hale Court to develop the garden for the residents.

Remain Active In Later Life

The team at Hale Court have developed a comprehensive and regular programme of group and individual activities. Residents always have the opportunity to suggest the type of activity or events they would be interested in and it's our aim to keep everyone at Hale
Court happy and engaged with activities.
