We have a team of staff who are trained to support elderly, frail or disabled people in their own home. We will not be taking over your life, but actively supporting you in retaining your many skills and perhaps helping to build on these. We respect your right to live in your chosen lifestyle and make your own decisions, helping you to remain as independent as possible.  We hope this will also increase your confidence, encouraging you to join in the active and varied social life here.

Within Great Bradfords House sheltered accommodation you are a tenant in your own right, retaining all the rights and choices associated with being a citizen of Essex.

The house has 33 one-bedroom flats and two two-bedroom flats. Each has a fitted kitchen and en suite shower room, and residents use their own furniture so the house has a very personal feel. There are lifts to all floors.

The Registered Manager is on site from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday, with a team of support and care staff on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Great Bradfords House is managed by Abbeyfield Braintree, Bocking and Felsted
