We provide very sheltered independent living in a peaceful, friendly atmosphere. We offer a range of activities from coffee mornings to the more energetic exercise classes. It's a home from home with support when you need it from our professional and caring house staff and volunteers.

Abbeyfield House was set up in 1969 and completely rebuilt just over 20 years ago with a total refurbishment and extra rooms added in 2017.

We have 14 rooms with ensuite wet rooms, on the ground floor and first floor, accessible by lift.

There is a delightful communal lounge and dining room , so there is always somewhere to enjoy the company of others. The house is situated in a beautiful village with a well maintained garden so that you can sit out and enjoy the fresh air and sunshine.

This house is managed by Abbeyfield Braintree, Bocking and Felsted
