Billericay Society Ltd
The Abbeyfield Billericay Society was formed in 1975. After many years of searching, a suitable venue became available on land adjacent to the Emmanuel Church.
Construction commenced in 1985 and Archer House, purpose built to provide sheltered accommodation for older people, was officially opened by HRH The Princess Royal in 1986.
We are situated very close to the High Street in Billericay town centre, which has a good variety of shops. It is all on one level so easily accessible for those with any mobility problems.
Our residents are very happy here and often tell us, once they have settled in, that they wished they had moved in earlier.

Abbeyfield Billericay ‘Archer House’ was purpose built and opened by the Princess Royal in 1986. It has 10 rooms and is situated near the High Street close to the main shopping area with all its amenities.
Providing assisted living for the fit and able residents to help combat loneliness and isolation by offering a community environment.
