The Abbeyfield Ryde Society are looking to recruit an experienced Cook to provide two homemade meals a day for eight independent older residents.

The successful candidate must have the ability to empathise with and support our residents in their day to day lives. Previous experience of working with older people would be an advantage.

Working days will be Thursdays and Fridays of each week together with one weekend per month (split shifts). Additional hours to cover staff holidays, training and sickness will also be required.

The successful applicant will have or be prepared to train for Level 2 Food Safety in Catering and also be subject to DBS screening.
