Weekend Cook/Housekeeper in Tettenhall
As a Weekend Cook/Housekeeper you'll help maintain a clean environment in all areas of the house to maximise residents' comfort and overall enjoyment of their surroundings.
Hourly Rate: £9.29 - £9.34 per hour (depending on experience)
Hours: 32 hours per month, Alternative Weekends Permanent Part Time

The Weekend Cook/Housekeeper is a very diverse position and whilst the main part is to provide high quality food for our residents, there are many other aspects to the job. These include the general day to day running of the house, food orders and menu planning, supporting residents, maintaining the property, including reporting and monitoring repairs, admin tasks include (but not exclusive to) – daily checks, reading and answering emails, distribution of information to other staff members and keeping residents files up to date.

We have a Housekeeper working Monday to Friday and we are now looking to recruit someone to fulfil this role every other weekend. There will be the opportunity for additional hours to cover for holidays. You respect residents' wishes and preferences and work well as part of a team to ensure all residents' needs are met in relation to housekeeping. You are responsible for the use of housekeeping equipment and cleaning products and use these in line with agreed budgets and COSHH requirements. You aim to reduce wastage and report any defects in a timely manner.

The weekend cook/housekeeper's role requires the ability to cook for large groups of people, be able to work independently and confidently, but most of all be able to brighten our residents' day with your positive, cheerful attitude at weekends.
