General Assistant , Hill House, Honiton, Devon

As a General Assistant you'll help maintain a clean environment in all areas of the house to maximise residents' comfort and overall enjoyment of their surroundings. You will ensure all communal areas of the house are clean and tidy at all times and to the required standards.

Part Time 22 Hours per Week - £9.00 per hour

Hill House is a 30 bed care home, we look after people with a range of abilities. We are located in the beautiful Blackdown Hills approx 3 miles from Honiton town centre. We have always prided ourselves on being a family orientated home.

The role of General Assistant is varied, it covers, cleaning, laundry and kitchen assistant shifts between 8am and 8pm, this can involve assisting preparation of breakfast, collecting, clearing and washing all dishes, evenings it is serving meals and evening drinks along with dishwashing. Daily cleaning of communal and Residents Rooms, bathrooms etc, in Laundry sorting all personal washing, bed linen, kitchen laundry, table linen, washing, drying and ironing as you go.
