At Abbeyfield we pride ourselves on the quality of the food we provide our residents. We are currently looking to recruit an organised and proactive Head Cook to provide day to day management of the kitchen at our Burnham Court home, in Malmesbury.

Hours: 24 hours per week

At Abbeyfield we pride ourselves on the quality of the food we provide our residents. We are currently looking to recruit an organised and proactive Head Cook to provide day to day management of the kitchen at our Burnham Court home, in Malmesbury. You will be directly responsible for the preparation, cooking, service and quality of the food and beverage services at Burnham Court.

In this role you will be responsible for:

Ordering catering supplies
Making sure fresh, delicious and nutritionally balanced meals are produced every day of the week for our residents
Recording petty cash
Keeping all records up to date and accurate at all times

The successful candidate will be an experienced cook with an understanding of the needs of older people and have some qualification relating to Food Hygiene. Above all, we are looking for someone who cares about older people as much as we do and who is committed to making a positive difference in their lives.
