We are currently recruiting for a Teatime/Evening Cook to join our busy team in Rugby. In this role you will be responsible for looking at the dietary needs of our residents, preparing and cooking healthy meals that reflect their preferences. You will make sure catering products are ordered in a timely manner and will be responsible for the daily use of catering equipment whilst managing the cleaning procedures and schedules for the kitchen.

Salary: £9.03 per hour


Hours: 16 hrs per week (15.00-18.30 / 2 week rolling rota working alternate weekends)

You will make sure catering products are ordered in a timely manner and will be responsible for the daily use of catering equipment whilst managing the cleaning procedures and schedules for the kitchen.

The successful applicant will ideally have experience of cooking and baking within a large home or similar environment, have great communication skills and be a team player. We are looking for a compassionate person who can empathise with older people, understanding their needs and showing respect and kindness at all times.

Food Hygiene or First Aid certificates would be a beneficial, but are not essential in this role.
