We are looking for a cook in Sunderland to provide healthy and nutritious food for our residents and assist in the running of the house on a daily basis

Opened in 2017, this newly built complex has 75 one and two bedroom apartments, each beautifully decorated.  Set in the picturesque outskirts of Silksworth with far reaching views of the Tunstall Hills, Hope Bank View offers a modern, safe and lively environment. We have a large open kitchen space along with a staff tea room and office.

Jacqueline the kitchen supervisor has been working at Hope Bank View since it opened in November 2017 and loves being apart of the kitchen team. We are a small team working in a busy environment, ensuring all of our residents have the best possible experience when they are dining.

The day to day duties of a cook here at Hope Bank View involve food preparation, ordering stock and supplies, helping maintain the kitchen budget, cooking and serving meals and going that extra mile to ensure our residents are happy.

Our values here at Abbeyfield are openness which means that as an organisation we encourage and support new ideas from our residents. Honesty means that we will each work in an ethical way. Respect is something we understand we have to earn. Caring means that the wellbeing of our residents is central to everything we do, and that every individual will be treated with dignity and respect. We expect all of our employees to have these values.
