We are looking for a Senior Care Assistant to join our team at The Firs Nursing Home in Nottingham.

The role is covering day shift working a total of 36 hours per week.  Hours of work are 07:45 - 20:15.

We are a charity, providing high quality living accommodation and championing the needs of elderly people.  We believe in making time for older people to enhance their quality of life and wellbeing. For us, that means engagement with our residents; chatting and listening without worry of time pressure.

Our homes are closely linked to their community, to enhance not only the lives of our residents, but older people living locally. From trips to the seaside to events throughout

We all share the same values of being caring, honest, open and respectful; putting the needs of our residents first.

We provide clinical care for up to 31 individuals and support a number of complex residents. We are looking for an individual with strong team leader skills and enthusiasm. You will be responsible for leading your team throughout the shift with the support of the Nurse on duty. You will need clear and confident leadership skills to lead your team for the 12 hour shift patterns worked at the service.
