Registered Night Nurse, Sherwood, Nottingham , Nottinghamshire

We are looking for a Registered Night Nurse to join our team at The Firs Nursing Home in Nottingham. 

Hourly Rate: £17.50 per hour

Hours: Part Time / Bank / Casual Positions Available

You will coordinate the delivery of person-centred care which meets the physical and mental health needs of residents as well as their social, intellectual and emotional needs. You will ensure that nursing and care practices promote independence, preserve dignity and value the uniqueness of each individual. . The role will require you to manage comprehensive care plans as well as ensuring the management and administration of medication in accordance to the standard of Abbeyfield’s procedures.

The ideal candidate will be a registered RGN/RMN and hold a nurse PIN. Ability to work effectively as part of team, demonstrate good communication, organization and interaction skills and can empathise and understand the needs of older people is essential. Experience with managing budgets and IT skills are an asset.

We provide clinical care for up to 31 individuals and support a number of complex residents. We are looking for an individual with strong team leader skills and enthusiasm. You will be responsible for leading your team throughout the shift with the support of the Nurse on duty. You will need clear and confident leadership skills to lead your team for the 12 hour shift patterns worked at the service.
