Night Care Assistants, Malmesbury, Wiltshire

We are looking to recruit part-time Night Carers to work in our beautiful site called Burnham Court. You will be part of a small team supporting and caring for our residents throughout the evening/night. We operate a flexible shift pattern and are looking for two new team members. You will be able to demonstrate compassion and empathy in your approach to caring for older people, either through previous roles in social care or in other roles.

Location: Burnham Court , Hodge Lane, Malmesbury, Wiltshire , England, SN16 0BQ

Hourly Rate: £9.15 - £9.30 per hour (depending on experience) 

Hours: Permanent Part-Time Nights only : 8pm - 8am (with 1 hour break)

We are currently recruiting for two permanent part-time Night Care Assistants to join our busy team at our Flagship property in Malmesbury. Burnham Court offers Independent Living with Care Apartments each with outdoor space.

Your passion for looking after the needs of older people means that these things come naturally to you. And you are really keen to develop your career in elderly care provision. You also enjoy working with people, and form strong working relationships easily.

In your role as a Night Carer you will deliver care to our residents whilst also providing a domestic care service to local residents when needed throughout the evening/night. You will ensure older people enjoy life with us to the full, promoting their physical, social, intellectual and emotional wellbeing and promotion their independence.

The role of a Care Assistant involves creating an atmosphere that is warm and welcoming, ensuring that every resident enjoys life with us to the full. Duties will include providing assistance to residents with their personal care to include washing, dressing and assisting residents in all aspects of their daily lives as required.

Ideally you will have experience through previous roles in social care, although you will receive on the job support and training. Upon commencement, Care Assistants must be willing to undertake training to achieve NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalent.

The ideal candidate will be able to communicate and interact well with people, be comfortable working as part of a team and can empathise and understand the needs of older people.
