Country Support Manager, Abbeyfield Societies in Scotland (ASIS) Chair and Board

An opportunity has arisen for a Country Support Manager for (ASIS) Chair and Board in the efficient and effective running of activities in Scotland.

Part Time 21 Hours 

Salary £41,827.14 up to £52,283.92 pro rata

To work with the ASIS Chair, Abbeyfield Societies in Scotland (ASIS) Board, and Independent Member Societies to implement the decisions of the ASIS Board and other established priorities.


To support the ASIS Chair in the efficient and effective running of activities in Scotland, ensure their financial viability and long term sustainability.

Raise the profile of Abbeyfield through building positive relationships with key stakeholders and encouraging good three-way interrelationships between the Abbeyfield Society, the ASIS Board and Member Societies.

Develop relationships with regulatory bodies such as the Care Inspectorate, SSSC, OSCR, Local Health Boards and Local Authorities on behalf of ASIS and member societies to promote an understanding of Abbeyfield, keep up to date with any new or changing laws and regulations, influence proposed new laws and regulations within the scope and disseminate information accordingly.

Support the implementation and delivery of the overarching strategy.

Advise Societies in relation to compliance with the Care Inspectorate, Scottish Social Services Council, OSCR and Local Authority regulations.
