A unique opportunity has arisen for an experienced Care professional to join our great team at our flagship care home in Malmesbury, Wiltshire.  We provide a distinctive care and independent living (or domiciliary care at home) service, as residents either rent or own their own self-contained flats.

At Burnham Court we are offering an exciting opportunity for a Care and Housing Operations Manager to lead and support our experienced team based in the heart of the Cotswolds countryside – 7 miles from Highgrove, the private country residence of our royal patron.

Offering 49 modern apartments to cater for those who want to live their later life in a safe, yet independent environment, the successful candidate will ensure that every resident is treated with respect and dignity by each member of their skilled team which is at the heart of everything we do at Abbeyfield.

Managing all aspects of the day to day operations from budget control to compliance with all relevant statutory and legislative bodies, you will ensure that Burnham Court can also deliver a high quality, personalised Care at Home service to its residents to meet any individual need.

Building on its ‘Good’ CQC rating, you will continue to promote Burnham Court as a vibrant, enjoyable and welcoming place to live and work through a range of social activities within the in-house community and by continuing community engagement with local stakeholders.

With strong managerial skills and 3+ years experience in a similar people centred role, you will passionately inspire and develop your team to ensure that everyone feels well supported, valued and knowledgeable in their role.

To ensure continuity and a high quality service for our residents to enjoy their independent lifestyle with personal, high quality care in their own apartments, a flexible attitude is required to work the occasional weekend/out of hours.

At Abbeyfield, we believe that great care starts with great people and offer not only a competitive salary, holiday pay and pension, but also training and career development for the right person.
