We are currently looking to recruit a Care Worker in Northwood, to help us provide excellent quality care for the residents living in our James House Care Home. We want motivated and engaged people to support the team in providing the very best for our group of residents

Care Assistant - James House, Northwood Middlesex

Hours: Shift pattern - Week 1 Two 7 hour shifts weekday and two 7 hour shifts weekend

                                     Week 2 Four 7 hour shifts weekday

We are looking to recruit a Care Assistant who can demonstrate compassion and empathy in their approach to caring for older people, either through previous roles in social care or in other roles.

The role of a Care Assistant involves creating an atmosphere that is warm and welcoming, ensuring that every resident enjoys life with us to the full. Promoting the physical, social, intellectual and emotional wellbeing of our residents, you will assist in the promotion of their independence. Duties will include providing assistance to residents with their personal care to include washing, dressing and assisting residents in all aspects of their daily lives as required.

Previous experience for this role is not essential but if you have the right values for our organisation, you will be supported by a programme of continuous training and development and if successful you must be willing to undertake training to achieve NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalent.
