Holloway House celebrates volunteer’s incredible 40-year milestone
Abbeyfield has a proud tradition of volunteering, with the services of around 2,500 volunteers employed by the organisation around the world. The party at Holloway House was in celebration of Mrs. Kate Hutchinson, who has recently passed the milestone of 40 years of volunteering for Abbeyfield.

Abbeyfield House plans to save lives in Alnwick
Abbeyfield House manager, Heather Dixon, identified a need for a defibrillator at the east end of Alnwick and, as she could not find one, suggested to the Executive committee that who run the care home, that it would be good to have one in the local area. It was agreed and a project plan was put in place.

A Window into Abbeyfield
During Christmas, Halcyon House, a residential care home in Formby, gave their windows a makeover to reflect the spirit of the festive season, with a touching story about a woman who recently lost her husband. The house’s windows were painted by Liam Brown.
