Residents and staff at Abbeyfield House sheltered housing scheme in Wendover have shown they are creative pearly kings and queens after their Only Fools and Horses-inspired scarecrows triumphed in two competitions.

Abbeyfield South Downs bury time capsules to mark opening of new independent living scheme Holdenhurst
Abbeyfield South Downs has marked the official opening of its affordable rental development, Holdenhurst, by burying two time capsules. They invited schools, community groups, businesses and residents of the town to contribute content for the capsules and will be dug back up in 50 years' time.

Remembering our founder

Stone the crows! Famous and friendly faces brought to life in Abbeyfield Scarecrow Challenge
The Abbeyfield Scarecrow Competition encouraged our residents, staff and volunteers to create a scarecrow with a famous or friendly face, to help show off their creative flair. We had a great number of entries to help to put our houses and homes on the map.
