Bank Cook/Housekeeper in Brackley

£8.90 per hour, Casual Hours (holiday and sickness cover)

At Abbeyfield we aim to maximise and improve the quality of life for every one our residents. As a Housekeeper you will make certain that everyone feels settled and supported encouraging residents to get involved in our activities and providing day to day management of the house.

You will need to be a great cook as part of your job role will involve preparing delicious meals for our residents, as well as managing materials and stock for the efficient running of the house. There will also be some administration involved, for which training will be given.

The successful candidate will have a good understanding of the needs of older people, experience of working with the public and an ability to work under their own initiative. A Food Hygiene Certificate qualification would be desirable but above all you must care about making a difference to the lives of older people as much as we do.
