Abbeyfield shortlisted for Local Charity of the Year

16/06/2016

We’re thrilled to announce that 24 Abbeyfield homes have been shortlisted to the final three in the Sainsbury’s Local Charity of the Year scheme across the UK!

Abbeyfield shortlisted in Sainsbury charity of the year

Every year, Sainsbury’s works together with their customers and colleagues to support a local cause at the heart of the local community. These are holistic partnerships that last for the whole year and include a range of support such as awareness-raising and fundraising in-store, volunteering and donations.

Since 2009, Sainsbury stores have each selected a Local Charity of the Year to partner with and, with public support, they've now raised over £11 million. This can really make a big difference to local charities at the heart of the communities where we live and work.

It's great the so many Abbeyfield homes have made it this far and are now on the short list. If you would like to support us and vote for one of our homes voting is simple.
