Abbeyfield Society have welcomed this pledge and have offered to volunteer their services to the Government. The visit coincided with the birthday of two residents and a small celebration put on for them by staff and other residents.
Zac said ‘It was a pleasure to visit Abbeyfield Care Home last week. The home, the staff and the residents were all wonderful and I was lucky enough to be able to share in two birthday celebrations while I was there. Abbeyfield Care Home provides a real service to our community and I will continue to support their excellent work.’
Samantha Alleyne, Abbeyfield’s PR & Marketing Officer said: “The two birthday girls Ella (88) and Evelyn (86), were thrilled to have him attend their small birthday celebration.
