There is a wide scope of opportunities on offer at Abbeyfield.  As well as the variety of jobs in our houses and homes we have range of roles at our Head Office in St Albans.

No matter which area of Abbeyfield you join you will find there are plenty of opportunities to learn new skills and develop a rewarding career.

Care & Support

Care Assistants, Domestic Support and the Managers who lead them make up the majority of Abbeyfield's workforce.  Individuals employed in these roles ensure every resident receives truly personal, social, practical and emotional support, aiming to ensure they are happy and fulfilled.

On a day-to-day basis the work carried out through these roles varies enormously.  This is because the support we provide is tailored to meet the needs of the individual residents.  No day is typical, but could include helping with personal care, gardening through to accompanying residents on shopping trips and days out, providing a friendly face and someone to chat to.

Whilst our prospective Managers will need some experience, what's most important is your approach to work and that you share our commitment to the importance of the work we carry out.

Business Support & Senior Management

Based either in our Head Office in St Albans or our regional hubs you will find a team of business personnel that serves our houses and homes and ultimately our residents.

Our Administration, Marketing, Business Planning, HR, Finance, IT and Facilities staff are crucial to our success, working in partnership with our Housing and Care services to ensure Abbeyfield runs smoothly and efficiently.
